Coloring Contest Winners

FINDLAY--The Commercial Savings Bank RibOff coloring contest was a huge success!
We had 67 entries for the 5-7 year olds; 59 for the 8-10 year olds; and 8 for the 11-14 year olds.

Winners were ages 5-7: 1st Alivia Delancy; 2nd Hailey Dysert; and 3rd Xuchiel Galvan.
Ages 8-10: 1st Meliah Hunker; 2nd Zoe Clark; and 3rd Trinity Marie Gasser.
Ages 11-14: 1st Lauren Brewer; 2nd Bryce Esper; and 3rd Grace Ramsey.

Carey Fest 2012

CAREY--There were a whirlwind of activites in Carey the August 2-4, and Carey Fest 2012 is now officially in the books.

Congratulations to the royalty for the 2012 Carey Fest: Queen Katie Driggers, Junior Queen Ella Clinger and Junior King Duane Gibson.

CSB Helps in Marion Classrooms

MARION—Commercial Savings Bank representatives have spent recent weeks “back in the classroom” as a part of a Junior Achievement program.

CSB officials Steve Hensel, Anita VonKaenel, Jackie Jackson and Sue Reiff have visited Marion school classrooms to teach students about personal economic concepts.  Hensel has visited a kindergarten classroom to help with the “Ourselves” program, designed to help develop these economic concepts through storybook characters and hands-on activities. 

The goal of the program is to increase the students’ understanding of personal economics, help them discover that individuals make choices, introduce students to money, with an emphasis on earning and saving, and to make the students aware of the importance of education for their future.
