Upper Sandusky Office Remodels, Open House Planned

UPPER SANDUSKY—Commercial Savings Bank’s corporate headquarters at 118 South Sandusky Avenue has been renovated and bank officials will receive the Upper Sandusky Chamber of Commerce’s Star Award during an upcoming event.

An open house is planned for June 19th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Chamber of Commerce executives will present the Star Award at 1 p.m. The Star Award is a prestigious award given to Wyandot County businesses and manufacturers who have made a significant monetary investment in the community, through expansion or business improvements.

The South Sandusky Avenue location received a complete makeover. New carpeting and tile flooring on the first floor was completed along with painting. The teller area was remodeled with new cabinetry and countertops.   New customer seating and wall coverings complete the remodel.

“Our headquarters received a complete ‘facelift,” according to Branch Manager Sarah Johnson. “The improved teller areas and cosmetic changes will provide us a better opportunity and atmosphere to serve our customers.   Receiving the Star Award from the Upper Sandusky Chamber of Commerce is just icing on the cake. Reinvesting in our facility and the community is part of what being a community bank is all about.”

The renovation project was completed in May 2012.
