UPPER SANDUSKY—Long-time Commercial Savings Bank Board of Directors member Richard Sheaffer was honored on his retirement recently at an open house.
Sheaffer was elected as a member of the Board of Directors on August 6, 1976. He was elected as Chairman of the board in January 1990, and served in that capacity until April 2007.
A life-long farmer in the Harpster area, Sheaffer's open house took place in April at CSB headquarters on South Sandusky Avenue in Upper Sandusky. Among the attendees where Richard's mother, wife, children and grandchildren.
During the open house, Sheaffer was presented with a CSB lapel pin with two sapphires and one diamond. The presentation was made by Director Mark Dillon.
