Consumer complaints relating to identity theft remain at the top of all categories of consumer complaints. That is one reason we’re excited to provide you with vital identity theft protection tools at NO COST TO YOU! Through a strategic partnership between the Community Bankers Association of Ohio and Assurant Red Flag ID Fraud Solutions, we are able to provide our customers with the following services, again at no cost:

• ID Theft Recovery- A dedicated ID Recovery Specialist will manage your identity theft investigation from start to finish, filing necessary documents and providing ongoing personalized support until the case is resolved. 

• Credit Monitor Assist- Provides assisted access to your credit reports.

• Crisis Preparation Kit- Ensures ease-of-access to your personal documents in the event of a loss, theft, or disaster.

• Document Replacement- Provides personalized replacement assistance if your personal documents are stolen or lost due to fire, flood, or other disasters.

• Member Education Website- Gives you access to a credit education portal with the most up-to-date information and advice on how to avoid identity theft.

The next step is up to you. In order to activate some of these complimentary services, you’ll need to contact an Assurant representative at (800) 859-1568. They’ll need to get some basic information from you in order to set up your account. The call should take only a few minutes and can provide you with peace of mind that will last a lot longer.

Enhanced Benefits

As great as the above complimentary services are, you may wish to upgrade for enhanced benefits. There are three optional programs available with competitive monthly fees. Depending upon the program you choose, you can get services such as emergency cash in case of a lost or stolen wallet while travelling, Keylogging defense System for web surfers, and financial reimbursement for losses incurred as a result of identity theft.
