CSB Earns Five-Stars From BauerFinancial

UPPER SANDUSKY— Commercial Savings Bank has been awarded a Five-Star (Superior) designation from BauerFinancial, Inc.

BauerFinancial has been analyzing and reporting on the financial condition of the nation’s banking industry since 1983. Each bank and credit union is required to file a detailed financial report with federal regulators four times a year. BauerFinancial obtains this data in its raw form from the government. The quarterly data is subjected to a thorough analysis and is compared with historical data for consistency. Upon completion of the analysis, a star-rating is assigned based on a scale of zero to five stars with five stars being the strongest.

CSB--LoriLori started at Carey’s CSB branch in June of 2007. Lori attends community events and encourages her children to do the same and be involved.

“We love our community, our customers. The customers love us! I think our customers like seeing us at the store, at the fest, etc., and knowing we are a part of the community too.”

Julie is Assistant Branch Manager at our Arlington location. She is actively involved with Cedarcreek Church and the Susan Koman Race in Findlay.

“I enjoy working with a community bank because you get to grow personal relationships with your customers. There is nothing more rewarding than to see them grow to their full potential financially by offering hope, positivity, inspiration and most of all a smile! Your smile might be the only one they receive that day! It’s very humbling when you receive all this back too!

CSBChontayChontay has been with the Carey branch of CSB for 6 years. Active in Carey Soccer Club and the track fundraising committee, Chontay also has a photography business and helps run a small business in Carey.

Maggie is head teller at our branch in Upper Sandusky, She has been with CSB for 11 1/2 years and is active in her church and a fire department auxiliary member.

“I love my customers! It is all about them. It’s nice to build relationships with our customers and know you are helping them on a daily basis….whether I am balancing a checkbook or just making them a cup of coffee and a donut. I am here to help them!”

Community Banking Month — Meet Patty Luikart

CSB-PattyPatty has worked for CSB for more than 20 years! She loves that she knows her customers by name and they know her. She is active in Relay For Life, Carey Fest parade, Business Showcase, Christmas in Carey and other community activities.

 “We have a great staff that gets along really well, considering we see each other more than our family members. Everyone is really caring and compassionate and step up when asked and needed. Customers come first and we strive to make them feel welcome and a part of their community bank.

Jackie is a teller supervisor at the Jamesway Branch in Marion. With more than five years experience with Commercial Savings Bank, Jackie is active in United Way, Junior Achievement and church programs.

“I enjoy working in a community bank because it is easier to build a personal one-on-one relationship with the customers. I also like the personal relationships made with the people you work with. The staff becomes a family team and you also get to know the back office staff on a personal basis, which ultimately helps in knowing who to contact for assistance when needed. I like that all levels of authority are active and make appearances in the office, and are always willing to help and asking if we need anything.”
